Tour introduction

Horse riding in Mongolia is interesting and exciting. Mongolia is probably the most horse riding nation in the world. 

We will explore by horse Orkhon valley, registered as World Cultural Heritage by UNESCO in 2005. There are many of Mongolia’s ancient monuments lie within its basin. There is Orkhon waterfall also called UlaanTsutgalan, formed by a series of volcanic eruptions about 20.000 years ago.. Explore Orkhon valley by horse riding with us!



Day by day itineraries

Day1. Arrive in Mongolia and city tour in Ulaanbaatar (Abbreviation: UB) (D)

We will pick you up from the airport and transfer you to the hotel. After some rest at the hotel we will visit the National History museum and see Mongolian traditional show at 6 o’clock. After dinner, we will transfer you to the hotel. Stay in hotel***


Day2. Terelj National Park and Khustai National park (B/L/D)

Today we will drive to Terelj NP. On the way to National park, we will visit Chingis Khaan Equestrian statue that is highest one in the world. In the NP we will hike to small temple Aryabal. Then we will drive to Khustai NP. The park lies in the foothills of southern Khentii mountain range and it is the place where you can see wild horse called Takhi known as Przewalski horse to the world. The wild horses survive in nature by themselves because they have been reintroduced successfully to their homeland after 40 years of extinction. Currently, the number of Takhi has already reached more than 300. Visit to local museum. Overnight in ger camp (About 250kms)


Day3. Kharkhorin and Erdenezuu monastery (B/L/D) 

We will drive to ancient capital city Kharakhorin. In 1220 great Chinghis Khaan declared it as the capital city of his vast Empire. Today there are many interesting sites left to visit; the legendary turtle rock sculptures, Buddhist stupas and the ruins of this once great city to name a few. Erdenezuu - the 1st Buddhist monastery in Mongolia was established in 1586. Today Erdenezuu monastery still shows its glory with collections of many priceless religious objects and incredibly beautiful Mongolian arts. It has a massive square wall, 420 meters in length each side, 108 Stupas & 17 temples. Overnight ger camp (about 290 kms)


Day4. Horseback riding to Orkhon River basin (B/L/D)

After breakfast, our horseback riding will start to Orkhon valley, registered as World Cultural Heritage by UNESCO in 2005. There are many of Mongolia’s ancient monuments lie within its basin. Overnight in tents (About 30kms)


Day5. Horseback riding to Tovkhon Temple (B/L/D)

Horseback trekking to one of most beautiful monastery complex is situated on a forested rocky mountain in the Uvurkhangai province. Stay in tents (About 25kms)


Day6. Visit Orkhon waterfall (B/L/D)

Horse riding to Orkhon waterfall. Also called UlaanTsutgalan, formed by a series of volcanic eruptions about 20.000 years ago. We will visit Yak herder family. Stay in ger camp (About 30kms)


Day7. Leisure day at the Orkhon waterfall (B/L/D)

We will explore the area of the waterfall by horse riding. Stay in same ger camp (About 20kms)


Day8. Ugii lake (B/L/D)

Today we will drive to Ugii lake where is located in the centre of Mongolia,and in the territory of Arkhangai province is one of the biggest lakes of Mongolia and has 27 km squire area. Stay in ger camp (About 200kms)


Day9. Ulaanbaatar city (B/L)

After breakfast, we will drive to Ulaanbaatar and transfer you to the hotel. Stay in hotel*** (About 340kms)

Day10. Departure (B) 

Transfer to the airport for your departure.
